Could you get a debug log like this:

 $  cd gstreamer-1.2.4/tests/check/
 $ GST_DEBUG=*:6 make gst/gstdatetime.check 2>dbg.log
 $ xz -9 dbg.log

and attach it to this bug report.

And also tell us the output of 'date -R'.
