Ok, so what about storing the Activity in GStreamer.init() somewhere in a
static variable, and allowing to retrieve it from there? That way the
application would only need to provide it there (it does already), and not to
every random plugin out there.

Still leaves the annoyance for non-Java apps. Edward, your opinions?
