I found... TESTS_ENVIRONMENT. If I set it in addition to AM_TESTS_ENVIRONMENT
(same value), I get complaints about decodebin not finding typefind, which
seems like progress of sorts.

Might that be the problem, since bilboed's commit references "new automake test
runner" ... :/
