Note that this patch is causing a (re-)negotiation error with the following
pipeline:

videotestsrc ! glupload ! glcolorconvert ! gltransformation ! glimagesink

when doing the following scenario: PLAYING => READY => PLAYING.

I'm currently investigating the issue.
