Just did a quick test, typefind works for bytestream, but not for AVC. I'm not
sure it is supposed to work though.

Works:
gst-launch-1.0 videotestsrc ! x264enc ! video/x-h264,format=bytestream !
typefind ! h264parse ! avdec_h264 ! autovideosink
