This slideshow of a video has been recorded with the following pipeline:

gst-launch-1.0 ximagesrc remote=true use-damage=false show-pointer=true
startx=2560 starty=0 endx=4479 endy=1080 ! video/x-raw,framerate=30/1 !
videoconvert ! videoscale ! videorate ! vp8enc threads=12 ! webmmux name=mux !
filesink location="./video.webm"
