It's likely a different track and it works fine here. Actually, it works with
xvimagesink and glimagesink. With ximagesink, I see a green frame and few
assertions, with cluttersink (hence Totem), it fails.

But in general, the answer is that it works inside playbin, there might be
issues with one of videoscale/videoconvert/ximagesink and there is definatly
issues with cluttersink (which is a maintained externally from the gst project,
but in the same bugzilla though).
