If you have a RTX delay of 500ms, you can't really do any realtime streaming
anymore.


So yes, we should probably make those values a) configurable and b) add a mode
to automatically select something based on the average packet rate.


Jose's patch will only drop the RTX packets then, but that's probably still
better than asserting on a NULL buffer.
