I feel realy really REALLY not comfortable with your comment.

I do not intend to hijack anyone's work. Like I said, I propose a solution that
can be compared with another one.
Maybe you do not like when we have a choice. I personnaly do.

Then, if you have a quick look at this thread history you shall notice that I
provided a first proposal that needed to be reworked, which I have done now (a
bit late).
So I do not feel like I hijacked anything.
But, anyway we do not care at all of who was the first one, this is absolutelty
meaningless.

Now, I propose you move back my patch proposal from "Obsolete" to "new". And
then we can start discussing of the pros & cons of George and I solutions. Just
like George, an open-minded guy, started to do.
