The simulator can be both 32 bit and 64 bit. From
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/28033635/why-does-the-ios-simulator-require-i386-and-x86-64-symbols-even-though-im-on-an
32 bit is used for older iphones and 64 bit is used for ipad simulation so we
will still need both. We also would need to support armv7s to support
applications wanting to build with that architecture on the iphone 5. So in
short, we can't do anything yet.
