You may need to add the 'ugly' plugins too, yes.

If you used the libmpg123 mp3 decoder (mpg123audiodec), it moved from -bad to
-ugly in 1.8.

Also make sure you have the mpegaudioparse element from -good (gst-inspect-1.0
mpegaudioparse).
