The code for HDCD in ffmpeg was further refined as discussed in the ticket to
the ffmpeg bugtracker (https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/4441).

Further, one of the developers of ffmpeg created a stand-alone library:
https://github.com/bp0/libhdcd

You mean want to integrate this :)
