            Bug ID: 776420
Summary: Inconsistent naming between videoparse and capsfilter
                    "format" field
    Classification: Platform
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: git master
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-plugins-base
          Assignee: gstreamer-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: s.feltman at gmail.com
        QA Contact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
     GNOME version: ---

For example:

videoparse uses "i422-10le" for GST_VIDEO_FORMAT_I422_10LE and
capsfilter strings use "I422_10LE".

One of these should be updated to support the other for the sake of consistency
(otherwise scripts need to muck around with this). I'd be happy to look at
submitting a patch but would need some direction.
