More complicated :/ I actually also have a gee-0.8, but it seems to be
different to yours:

but if I try to build again 0.8, I get lots of build issues. The API seems to
be different. Not sure why it built for you.

I'll see if I can make it build against 0.8 and hope that this is the same API
that you have with 0.8.
