If you're getting black frames, that's probably because the card isn't
configured properly or there's no signal.

You're setting mode=18 which is 720p @ 59.94fps - are you sure that's what the
GoPro outputs? Have you tried other modes and/or auto mode? Also various
"video-format"?

Does it work in the decklink apps from the SDK?
