The filter-less code should've worked before already so yes. That part actually
seems easy to fix, no?


The more important part is to only limit this channel remixing feature to
mono/stereo instead of allowing it for arbitrary channel layouts. It's going to
cause problems for others and behave differently than audioconvert.
