I could add it beneath the LGPL text at the top of each file, perhaps separated
by some kind of delimiter (e.g., `--' on a line by itself). I think they'd be
happy with that.

No, the functionality is hidden and the pad caps have been changed so that it
handles only TTML subs. And I haven't changed handling of the other subtitle
formats to use the new exchange format. I guess that means it would be best to
remove them..?
