I am able to reproduce this reliably. If you start a shmsink

gst-launch-1.0 videotestsrc !
video/x-raw,width=640,height=480,framerate=30/1,format=BGRA ! shmsink
socket-path=/tmp/foobar sync=true

and then run the attached code, I get the same exact segfault. Jose, did you
discover a workaround that still allowed you to use the compositor?
