I'm afraid that hardware and the gallium driver are not well tested in
gstreamer-vaapi, but I'm all to support them.

Can you upload the log output of this command:

gst-play-1.0 Ad\ that\ make\ me\ mad.mp4  --videosink=clutterautovideosink
--gst-debug=vaapi*:5 --gst-debug-no-color
