            Bug ID: 774154
Summary: Support for using libraries in a custom prefix
    Classification: Platform
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: git master
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-build
          Assignee: gstreamer-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: lists at svrinformatica.it
        QA Contact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
     GNOME version: ---

Using gst-uninstalled you can compile external libraries and you can put them
in the prefix folder and these will be used instead of the system ones when you
build gstreamer, a similar feature will be useful for gst-build too
