I think it's generally a good idea to expose this as a library. Many people
were trying to integrate OpenCV things into their own code, and then
implemented worse code than what we had in the opencv plugin already.

Until OpenCV has a stable API, we should keep this in -bad and have it
explicitly marked as unstable API too. The headers use types from OpenCV.
