AFAIK all the above are using the VideoFilter base class. So this proposal is
mostly about gathering them all to be registered under the same plugin. Right?

The benefit of that would be to make it easier for end users to find video
effects. The con would be for plugin developers to not have the above separated
by implementation/dependency details.

If other people think this is worth it, it is something I am happy to take on.
I was thinking recently I need to add more effects to the gaudi family, so this
would be a nice incentive towards that.
