Split the tarball download types so any failure is reported clearly.

The Android NDK python support does not have bz2 support. When it is used with
cerbero, and a third party bz2 tarball is downloaded, the error message does
not indicate what is wrong. Splitting the types into specific file extensions
instead of wildcarding causes the error messages to identify the problem.
