Cool!

I've glanced the branch and looks nice. I even cherry-picked one commit and
pushed it to master already ;)

The thing is that I have as urgent bug 753591, and AFAIU, I'll have to modify
heavily the gstvaapi allocator, so perhaps the rebase, of either branch, will
be painful. We'll see.
