Following up on an email conversation with Sebastian Dröge. I'm the lead
maintainer for the Java bindings for GStreamer 1.x [1] (forked from the earlier
bindings for 0.10).

As these bindings are now getting wider usage, we'd like to get them into the
central Maven repository [2]. We would ideally like to use
org.freedesktop.gstreamer as the Maven coordinates [3] as this is the most
likely thing people will search for.  Would the GStreamer project be happy for
us to request these coordinates?  This *may* require confirmation from someone
with admin control of the domain on this end, or at least some other
confirmation it's OK.
