Not sure why this would be related to the depth. The header says it's just over
8 minutes long:

 gst_flac_dec_metadata_cb:<flacdec0> total samples = 23495157

23495157 samples / 48000 samples/second = 489.48 seconds = 8'09

Sounds you have a file that was truncated?
