Forget about brasero, I got confused for a minute there, it shouldn't have
anything to do with your problem here.

Have you tried obtaining logs with soundjuicer? As I said in my comment
earlier, you can redirect to a file by calling eg:

GST_DEBUG=6 soundjuicer > logs.txt 2>&1
