Also, the definition of arbitrary plane offsets is pretty vague. GStreamer have
default rules that may not match your stack default rules for what is standard
strides and offsets.

In general, we implement the common sense that was shared with V4L2 UVC devices
and XV. Common sense that seems to have been replicated by DRM Dump and SHM,
but nothing of this is documented.
