Searching for AppleGVA does not tell me what that library is for, but there are
lots of people having the same problem with completely different software. The
solutions there seem to be unrelated, not sure what to make out of those.

Does gst-inspect-1.0 or gst-launch-1.0 from GStreamer work, or does it fail the
same way? Did you install via homebrew or from the binaries?
