I tried this: ./test-launch "( videotestsrc ! videoconvert ! x264enc !
h264parse ! rtph264pay name=pay0 )"

with VLC, and no such failure occurs. I do see artifacts at the beginning, but
as said, this seems to be different problem involving the RTSP-h264 combo.
Either way, this works every time.
