Summary: alsasrc: after disconnecting S/PDIF cable, stopping
                    pipeline hangs
    Classification: Platform
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: 1.x
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-plugins-base
          Assignee: gstreamer-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: mincequi at web.de

test app

When using alsasrc with S/PDIF input, starting/stopping pipeline works
perfectly. But when disconnecting cable during playback (or changing sample
rate, stopping the signal) and setting the pipeline to NULL state causes a
deadlock.

Log also prints the following message:
alsa gstalsasrc.c:864:xrun_recovery:<alsasrc> xrun recovery -5: Input/output
error

Please see attachment for example app.
