Update per your review! Thanks for checking it out, I made sure that
output_state isn't lost and input_state is unref'ed before setting it again.

The hardcoded keyframe will be fixed next :) now that we have the base stuff
down I am going to start adding properties once this lands (basic ones like
cpu-used and keyframe will make a huge difference)
