Also, it's supposed to expose bunch of other formats according to the spec:

  RGB: 5-5-5, 5-6-5 or 8-8-8 (24bit/32bit) pixels
  YUV: 4:2:2, UYVY, YUY2, YVYU

Do you mean the ksvideosrc fails on first unknown formats ?
