Another, maybe unrelated, finding:

GST_DEBUG=wasapi*:5 gst-launch-1.0 -v audiotestsrc ! wasapisink
low-latency=true

starts to have lots of noise after some seconds:

It starts printing:

gst_wasapi_sink_get_can_frames:<wasapisink0> 448 unread frames (padding)

then that value goes down to 0 slowly and then the noise starts:

gst_wasapi_sink_get_can_frames:<wasapisink0> 0 unread frames (padding)
