Although there are audioconvert and audioresample before audiomixer, the caps 
nego. is failed *sometimes* (not always)

gst-launch-1.0 audiotestsrc ! audio/x-raw,channels=2,rate=44100,format=S16BE !
audioconvert ! audioresample ! audioconvert ! audiomixer name=mix ! fakesink
audiotestsrc ! audio/x-raw,channels=4,rate=22050,format=S8 ! audioconvert !
audioresample ! audioconvert ! mix.
