Let's wait until we moved to gitlab (soon!) before I start reviewing this. It's
going to be a disaster to review this in bugzilla, and it's not possible to
comment on lines in the "compare" view on github :)

Can you send a MR with whatever you have at that time so I can start reviewing
the parts that exist already?
