I've come across a few "unfinished" tarballs released with the same
version as the actual release version - and have been guilty of one or two
in the past before I had a clue - to make sure this never happens again.

Trust me, we don't want users to think they have an actual 0.3.0 tarball
and have them send bug reports when the whole thing had been fixed
somewhere in the pre-release QC sessions ;)

Of course, if you're not joining in on the bugfixing I can see why it
would look funny ;) Especially if you actually read all those commits,
which I don't seem to have the time for.
