I should have called this EOS (end of stream).  The error happens about
the time the file finished playing.  In the 0.1.0 release I was getting
the following console message:

** CRITICAL **: file mpeg1parse.c: line 657 (gst_mpeg1parse_chain):
assertion `buf != NULL' failed.

I just checked and this appears to be fixed in the current CVS.  I guess
we can check this one off the list.
