At some point we should attempt to make an smpeg workalike library, using
gstreamer.  This requires an SDL video sink, which shouldn't be too
hard.  Then we can replace libsmpeg with our own shim, and be able to play
MPEG1, MPEG2, DiVX, AVI, etc, from any application that already uses
smpeg.  That'd be very cool.
