Bug #128638, was updated on 2001-Jan-12 20:52
Here is a current snapshot of the bug.
Project: GStreamer
Category: libgst
Status: Open
Resolution: None
Bug Group: minor bug
Priority: 3
Submitted by: omegahacker

Summary: xml parser.h is referenced wrong
Details: If the XML library is installed in a non-standard location, the
xml-config script gives an (IMO incorrect) include path of
/prefix/include/gnome-xml. Since the parser.h header is referenced as
<gnome-xml/parser.h>, this fails. Solution is to strip the gnome-xml/ from
the path, but this is dumb. Need to send mail to the gnome-xml author and
mention that the extra path in xml-config --cflags is incorrect. This is
what subdirs are for: hierarchical namespaces.
