[gst-devel] /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb

Hi!

I get this error message when I try to 'make' gstreamer:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [test] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/share/gstreamer-0.1.0/test/bindings'
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/share/gstreamer-0.1.0/test'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

Does somebody know a solution for this problem?

The sticker on the side of the box said "Supported Platforms: Win 95,
Win NT 4.0 or better", so clearly Linux was a supported platform.
