If you link gstreamer-launch with -lmcheck then you can easily
reproduce the problem.  Compare the reliability of these two
pipelines:

gstreamer-launch filesrc location=/opt/vast/cache/gwh.a52 ! a52dec ! osssink

gstreamer-launch filesrc location=/opt/vast/cache/gwh.a52 ! queue ! { a52dec ! osssink }
