Hey guys,

so a few of us (me, steve and andy) butted heads on what to do with helper 
libs like gstcontrol.

We've ran into a few problems over the last month related to apps linking 
to gstcontrol so that they can talk to plug-ins using it.

We talked it over and started wondering why these helper libs are plug-in 
at all ? We came up with very few reasons, and none of those were good.

There are enough reasons against making this sort of lib a plug-in.

So, the three of us decided that it would be better to move gstcontrol to 
prefix/lib, and have it be a real library.

These changes will affect a few components, so let us know if you don't 
agree with this.  But let us know soon ;) We intend to release 0.4.1 
relatively soon.
