[gst-devel] disksink problem ?

Hi,

while being away for the weekend I had two gstreamer apps running on two
different computers, both using disksink.

One was a simple

gst-launch osssrc frequency=32000 ! lame ! disksink location=test.mp3

which was still spewing

disksink : Warning : 838 bytes should be written, only 330 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 824 bytes should be written, only 752 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 834 bytes should be written, only 320 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 835 bytes should be written, only 336 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 834 bytes should be written, only 336 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 834 bytes should be written, only 329 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 838 bytes should be written, only 333 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 832 bytes should be written, only 336 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 842 bytes should be written, only 333 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 835 bytes should be written, only 342 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 843 bytes should be written, only 753 bytes written

while I arrived this morning. Pretty irregular.

The other one was the aaa app I'm still working on. That was spewing
disksink : Warning : 4169 bytes should be written, only 4096 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 4189 bytes should be written, only 4096 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 4292 bytes should be written, only 4096 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 4192 bytes should be written, only 4096 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 4269 bytes should be written, only 4096 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 4172 bytes should be written, only 4096 bytes written
disksink : Warning : 4236 bytes should be written, only 4096 bytes written

A bit more regular but still very useless.

Any ideas why this might be happening ? Does this mean disksink needs
fixing somehow ? Is it overflowing memory ?
Any suggestions are welcome, because the aaa app will need to run 24/7 for
months on end ;)

Thomas
