[gst-devel] why aren't libgst{audio,video} libs?

Hi all,

why aren't libgstvideo.so and libgstaudio.so general libs (in
$prefix/lib) instead of plugins in $prefix/lib/gst? gst-rec uses them
and thus doesn't work (installed). I'd be in favour of making them libs
instead of plugins, but what are other's opinions about it?

I can also copy the code to libgstrec, but I guess that's a bit ugly.
