[gst-devel] Starting to play with gstreamer

I'm trying to build gstreamer-0.4.1 on a new RH8 system. Do I still need
nasm to build?

Also, I like to build video plugins for avi mpeg and mov. Do I need a
specific version of avifile, mpeg2dec, and openquicktime? Where can I
get them?
