[gst-devel] gstreamer 0.6.x and video

Ever since 0.5.x I started to play with gstreamer. I was never able to
view video files such as mpeg or avi reliably. I compiled the helper
libs for these plugins and used gst-player. I not sure if it's gstreamer
or gst-player fault but this software is still pretty alpha quality. I
am now on RH9 and just compiled 0.6.1 with gst-player 0.5.0 and still
having gst-player lockup. Anyone able to be productive with this
software?
