[gst-devel] Trouble compiling gstreamer 0.7.2

something from libxml wasn't installed correctly, as this snippet shows:
configure:22169: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -I/usr/include/libxml2    
conftest.c  -lxml2 -lpthread -lz -lm   >&5
configure:22193:25: libxml/tree.h: No such file or directory

Figure out why tree.h is missing.
