You're right; I took joshua's hint and fixed that in Makefile.am
Just tested it, seems to work.  It will be in the final release.

I'm overriding a few automake targets; I see no better way to make it not 
descend into the dir and try to build these targets (that aren't there in 
ffmpeg's build setup).

Also, apparently linking in the static .a archives into our .so plug-ins 
is not portable.  Does anyone know on what platform it won't work ?
