[gst-devel] gstreamer cleanup

It would also be nice if we were able to clean up the empty directories
from the gst-plugins project.  There are a lot of them.  I notice the 
following:

  ext/a52
  ext/avifile
  ext/jpeg-mmx
  ext/mjpegtools
  ext/rtp
  ext/smooothwave
  ext/xmms
  gst/lav
  gst/smoothwave
  gst/stereomono
  sys/vcdsrc
  sys/vga
  sys/vgasink
  sys/videosink
  sys/xvideosink
  
And why is there an ext/festival and a gst/festival?  One, I suspect, is
not being used.  :)
